Danielle RoethlerMy name is Danielle Roethler. I am a self taught artist, that has been drawing and painting since the age of five. As a child I always new that I would become an artist. Because of my love for animals and the outdoors, I am mainly a wildlife artist. I have done several portraits, commissions and various other kinds of work including posters for the Humane Society in Sioux Falls. I also do my own photography, which gives me a chance to get close and personal with my subjects. My medium of choice is acrylic paint, but I also enjoy working with colored pencils.I have placed my art in several competitions including county fairs, magazines, and local newspapers. I have received blue and purple ribbons for “best of show” and also received awards for grand champion art. Although I have been creating art for quite some time, I have just begun to take my first steps into exposing my art to the public by placing my work into galleries and exhibits.
