Tim AxtmanTim Axtman was born in Harvey, North Dakota. His father was in the military so Tim lived in different locations all over the world throughout his childhood. Most of his family is still located in North Dakota.Tim has been involved in art since he was a teenager. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Dakota in 1970. Tim tried his hand at a variety of mediums, including oil painting, print-making, sculpture, drawing and most recently pottery. In 2002 Tim took up the potter’s wheel and has spent many hours experimenting with forms, glazes and combining hand built and thrown pieces.
