Darwin WolfFinding any one sculpture to be typical of Darwin Wolf isn’t likely. He sculpts by inspiration and will confidently move from one subject matter to another. As a result he is an extremely versatile sculptor who can satisfy a wide variety of criteria for commissions and public art. He leans strongly toward art for the common man and doesn’t believe an advanced degree should be necessary to enjoy public sculpture. Wolf began sculpting in 1979 at Northern State University. Two summers at Crazy Horse Mountain and time spent in area foundries pushed Wolf to be more competent and daring with his own sculpture. Darwin’s work has received national recognition and has been selected by many juries for awards and commissions.View Galleries « BACK |
